We plan to call young people worldwide to join the photo competition and the movement to contribute to building more peaceful and sustainable societies beyond borders. 

The outstanding beauty on earth, created by nature and people, is our common property. Beauty and significance in various forms within the World Heritage have the inherent power to transcend national borders and differences between peoples and inspire us for our universal values. Through such beauty and significance to be depicted by young people, we wish to generate respect for diversity, understanding, compassion, and empathy for others that will contribute to addressing global challenges and preventing violence, conflict, and climate crisis.
