Kyoto University, Japan, PBD Foundation, and Thammasat University, Thailand are
coming together to host the International Seminar “Next-Generation Leaders
Development: AI and Humanity for Peace and Sustainability”. This global event will take
place on 14 December 2024 at Thammasat University, Tha Prachan Campus, Bangkok,
and we invite you to be part of this international dialogue.
The seminar reflects on the global challenges of integrating AI technology into human
life. It focuses on AI’s potential to drive positive change to address global challenges and
explores its impact on humanity, cultural values, and traditions through diverse
perspectives.
In particular, the seminar aims to

• Examine AI’s transformative impact across sectors and its role in solving complex global issues.
• Explore the ethical coexistence of humanity and AI.
• Highlight successful AI applications in promoting peace and sustainability.
• Provide insights into the relationship between humanity and AI, especially for emerging leaders who will harness AI for a peaceful and sustainable future.
