The GMPA 2024 shows renouncing success. By the deadline of 30 August 2024, the co-organizers, Executive Education, HEC Montreal, and PBD Foundation, received 229 formal registrations and 189 valid entries (90 for the radio category, 59 for the television category, and 40 for the digital media) that are now in the hands of international jurors to judge.  

GMPA 2024 aims to:

1. Contribute to the world’s peace and harmony,

2. Encourage media professionals to think about peace reporting and peace journalism,

3. Motivate the CEOs of public media organizations to consider joining this movement,

4. encourage policymakers and media CEOs to give peace a chance.

The international jury of each category selects the winners in October, and the online Award Ceremony is tentatively scheduled for 26 November. During this ceremony, the 2025 GMPA and the 2025 online training initiatives are announced.
